Corrupted Windows Updates

If  you get a corrupted or incomplete download from Windows Update, it cn be a problem.  Run and launch Services.msc.  Find the item named Automatic Updates.  Double click it to pen Properties, then click the Stop button, then leave Properties window open.  Lunch Windows Explorer (Ctrl-E), and go to C:\windows folder.  Find folder named SoftwareDistribution.  Rename this folder SoftwareDistribution.old.  NOW...go back to Properties window and click the Start button to restart the Automatic Updates service.  This should fix it.  At the next update, your Windows will get the necessary files, and hopefully all will be complete and uncorrupted this time.
